After a particularly harsh winter Brian goes into a deep depression; completely isolated and with no one to talk to, Brian does what any sane person would do when faced with such a melancholic situation. He builds a robot. A charming film about a relationship between a man and a robot he built – funny and heart-warming with wonderful performances and beautiful cinematography depicting the rugged land and stark beauty of Wales. The humour in the film is subtle and refreshingly clever. The main characters are well developed and believable. In short if you need a little pick me up and a feel good experience – this film is it.
